Mona Marszalek, 90, of Lake Montezuma passed away November 22, 2017 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

She was born October 19, 1927 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Arthur Johnson and Mildred Harvey Johnson.

She worked for Bell Telephone and was also self employed, owning a video store in Lake Montezuma for a few years.

Her greatest accomplishment was her love of her family, making them smile, sharing memories, and making memories for all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Foremost, was the love of her Lord and Savior.

She was a member of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church and assisted the operation of Christmas Child Shoe Box Ministries and enjoyed gardening, antiques, travel and Native American Culture.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Marszalek, and son, Steven Marszalek.

She is survived by her son, Mark Marszalek of Lake Montezuma; three daughters, Connie Tripp (Rodney) of Canyon Country, California, Dawn Mattson (Christopher) of Cottonwood, Arizona and Derri Carney (John) of El Mirage, Arizona; 24 grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2 in the Beaver Creek Baptist Church, 3705 E. Beaver Creek Road, Rimrock, AZ 86335.
