Scam Alert: Hang up on Medicare card scammers

In April 2018 Medicare began mailing new cards to everyone who gets Medicare benefits. The new format helps protect user identity by removing Social Security numbers. Instead, the new cards have a unique Medicare Number. This new cards are being sent out automatically. Cardholders do not need to do anything or pay anyone to get your new card. (FTC)
